I love good food - who doesn't? I love trying new things, both in the kitchen and at restaurants. I also adore farmers markets and support the slow/local food movement. Why a Wannabe? Although I would love to, I have not yet taken a cooking class or had any formal education in Food sciences. That being said, I know a good and/or bad dish when I see/taste it - and I plan to blog about it here! Fitness, my love of festivals, travel and Northeast Ohio are also passions of mine that will make periodic appearances on this blog. I hope you enjoy. ~ MaryLee

The Great Food Truck Race Season 3 (Food Network) is filming here in Cleveland this weekend! I had the great pleasure of catching up with the Seoul Sausage Truck last night in Ohio City. This truck is a NOT MISS! It’s “rumored” they will be at the West Side Market this morning and Gordon Square this afternoon. Then on Sunday at Weapons of Mass Creation. Seoul Sausage makes everything by hand on the truck!

I’ve highlighted two of their menu items from last night above. da Seoulish Boi is a Korean spiced pork sandwich topped with fresh apple cabbage slaw and Korean spiced tater tots. IMHO, the fresh apple slaw totally makes this sandwich!

da Clevelander is a Korean BBQ infused burger served with Kimchi garlic jalapeño aioli…I have no words for the flavor that this burger has! Go find this truck this weekend specifically for this burger…seriously! They use 80/20 beef and marinate it in the sauce…no need to add a thing to this burger!
